mind map improvisation presentation performance
M.I.P.P.

tove

at notafe tove will share her method m.i.p.p as in mind map improvisation presentation performance.

she has used the method previously in many collective processes as a way to visualize ideas, which sometimes is a crucial point in collective productions.
how can you really see some one else’s idea in an early state, when rhetoric’s and taste might hinder the access?
M.I.P.P. is a way, with an equal time frame, to give every one a possibility to form an improvised presentation. a common physical research will be done to start of the day, in notafe a simple shake practice will be shared and from that individual but common task the participants of the workshop will lecture in front of each other about there discovery’s in the research.

the presentation is set up in front of a white board. with drawings, illustrations, notes, dances and talks the doer share an improvisation in a format of a lecture. the performative level is up to the doer. facts and fiction can of coursed be mixed!
we are all specialists of some sort and espersially on ones own perceptions, experienced in the previous movement practice.
the method is useful to learn to reflect individually (but together) in a research phase. through the articulation and sharing, the ideas grow firmer and the idea material shapes a common bank of diverse knowledge.
